Troubleshooting AvertX Connect Push Notifications on Mobile Devices

The AvertX Connect cloud service can process Alert Notifications from a registered ProConnect NVR.  Notifications can be sent to selected AvertX Connect account(s) through a mobile device via the AvertX Connect app.  Refer to this article to enable AvertX Connect alert notifications.


When notifications are correctly configured/enabled in the AvertX Connect cloud service, but a user account is not receiving notifications on their mobile device through the AvertX Connect app, check the following:

  1. Confirm an AvertX Connect user account with Alert Notifications enabled is logged into the app. 
  2. Verify the app settings on the device is allowed to process notifications:


On an Apple device 

  1. Enter Settings and then Notifications. 
  2. In the Notifications menu, select the AvertX Connect app from the list. 
  3. Enable push notifications. 


On an Android device 

  1. Enter Settings and then Apps & Notifications.
  2. In the Notifications menu, select the AvertX Connect app from the list.
  3. Allow notifications.
