Troubleshooting AvertX Connect Push Notifications on Mobile Devices
The AvertX Connect cloud service can process Alert Notifications from a registered ProConnect NVR. Notifications can be sent to selected AvertX Connect account(s) through a mobile device via the AvertX Connect app. Refer to this article to enable AvertX Connect alert notifications.
When notifications are correctly configured/enabled in the AvertX Connect cloud service, but a user account is not receiving notifications on their mobile device through the AvertX Connect app, check the following:
- Confirm an AvertX Connect user account with Alert Notifications enabled is logged into the app.
- Verify the app settings on the device is allowed to process notifications:
On an Apple device
- Enter Settings and then Notifications.
- In the Notifications menu, select the AvertX Connect app from the list.
- Enable push notifications.
On an Android device
- Enter Settings and then Apps & Notifications.
- In the Notifications menu, select the AvertX Connect app from the list.
- Allow notifications.
