How to Setup the AvertX Connect app on a Mobile Device
The AvertX Connect app can be installed to remotely view a ProConnect NVRs camera video streams in the Live, Search, and Event menu tabs. The app is also used on mobile devices to provide the audio interface with cameras that have audio capabilities enabled on a ProConnect NVR. The app can be downloaded for Apple and Android based mobile devices.
To setup the AvertX Connect app:
- Create an AvertX Connect cloud service account using a valid/working email address, and ensure the account(s) has the correct account permissions assigned. Add other user accounts if needed.
- Select and download the AvertX Connect app from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android devices.
- Log into the app using a registered/validated AvertX Connect user account from step 1 to access the NVR(s).
- The Add Device Manually option is generally used for troubleshooting a ProConnect NVR or app connection.
- Use this article to enable AvertX Alert Notifications from the ProConnect NVR through the AvertX Connect cloud service.
