How Do Devices Stay Updated?
Avertx’s automatic updates happen in the background, ensuring that you stay up-to-date without intervention. Updates are rolled out to all users, following the schedule below based on each devices’ local time. This schedule is maintained for security, performance and reliability.
- When available, updates will automatically download and install daily between 10:00 PM and 3:00 AM, based on the local time of each device.
- This is a fixed schedule and cannot be modified, postponed or disabled.
- System updates will often require a restart of your device, during which the device will not be recording.
- Major updates will not be released during the end of year holiday season.
- Under normal circumstances, updates will be released only Monday through Thursday.
